Welcome to the Wood County Amateur Radio Club! The club was founded in 1954 to help serve the emergency communication needs of Wood County, Ohio. The county seat is Bowling Green which is the home of Bowling Green State University. The first meetings of the club were held in the garage of one of the founders, Paul Businger, W8QZK (silent key). From these humble beginnings, the club has continued to foster the enjoyment of Amateur Radio.
The club call sign is K8TIH and the club has been affiliated as an official ARRL club since 1957.

Field Day
Field Day will be June 28-29, 2025 at the Wood County Museum, 13660 County Home Road, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. This is an excellent opportunity to bring friends who might be interested in Ham Radio! Setup begins at noon.
